Another .hack//google search!

This time, the words are “Behind Grocery Cell”

This time, the words are “Behind Grocery Cell” which gave this site. reviewjournal.com is the website for the Las Vegas Journal-Review. The article linked to is about one woman’s effort to get a grocery store to pull an ad from television because it depicts someone using a cell phone while behind the wheel.

On one facet, this woman is right in pointing out that driving while using a cell phone does make things more dangerous. This has been established. On the other hand, I don’t believe her assumption that the advertisement encourages the acceptance of “chatting and driving”. People are going to use their cells unless the law says otherwise. And even then, we’ve seen how that’s not 100% effective with seat belts or motorcycle helmets. Still, this woman is trying to do something she believes will make her community a better place, and you gotta respect that.

OK, I’m off to work! Check out the article and chime in with your two cents: Should this lady be praised or locked up? Until next time, enjoy this round of .hack//google!

A video game’s curse

I decided to take three random words from the last three posts, put them in Google’s search engine, and click on the first link.

“taken dispel philosophical”

I play a game called .hack (yes that’s a period in front) which has a rather fun concept. You take three keywords and combine them. This gives you a dungeon that you can explore. Some of the combonations can be a bit humorous. For example, Hidden Someone’s Whale? That’s an actual combonation that you can come up with. How do you hide a whale exactly? But I digress…

I decided to take three random words from the last three posts, put them in Google’s search engine, and click on the first link. This time, the words were “Taken Dispel Philosophical”. The first link the popped up? A blog about Mormon Philosophy and Theology dated for March 1, 2005. Check it out or not, but this was kinda fun. I’ll have to do it again every now and then.

Note: To anyone familiar with Google Seppuku, this was perhaps a little inspired by this.
