One of the keys to happiness that I’ve been blessed to learn (but not perfect) is forgiveness.
I was taught that key by a woman whose personality was nearly as pure as her soul.

I’m not versed or wise enough to explain it or to describe her any better.

    Funniest Runescape outfit ever!

by Angalee on Sep.02, 2007, under Angalee, Runescape, del.icio.us

I guess the name says it all.
Alphaman10 is wearing a reindeer hat, beige tribal shirt and beige short shorts from keldagrim.
I personally would have gone for the pink tribal and pink short shorts, but i’m a girly girl.
    Thank you Alphaman10!

    Microsoft takes the lead? NOOOOoooo!!!

by Fluxxdog on Jan.13, 2007, under Fluxxdog, Games, Internet News, Nintendo, WII, Zelda, del.icio.us

Well, the numbers are in and Microsoft and the XBox 360 has definitely cleaned up during the Christmas holiday sales. The major factor being that Sony and Nintendo couldn’t get enough PS3s and Wiis (is that the proper plural?) out to meet the demand for their new systems. HOWEVER, from all sources that I’ve been reading, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Gears of War are both fighting for the Game of the Year spot. Naturally, my money’s on Zelda.

Another thing concerning analysts for the gamer’s market is the PS3 is going to suffer unless they can get a real winner of a title out. I want them to have the #2 spot behind Nintendo. Not because of my dislike for Microsoft in general, mind you, but the PS3 has a lot more promise. The work that’s been done on the system could keep the PS3 as a viable market product for 10 years, instead of the every 5 years we’ve been seeing.

That being said, though, can the Wii hold its own until the next ‘console war’? With its current gen technology, it’s pretty much outdated as it is. Nintendo’s strongest selling point has always been its games, so time will tell.

    Reductio ad absurdum

    by Angalee on Nov.07, 2006, under del.icio.us

Hate and fear come together to form the most noxious social concoctions, prohibitions. Those who believe that Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde are real share an affliction with the fictional character. In their case a lie serves the same purpose and produces the same effect. Such a simple idea really, a good man takes a drug and becomes a bad man. While good fiction it is bad fact. There is no support in science that would suggest such a thing. A drug can easily kill you, but to assume a drug can make a good boy steal money from his mother’s purse, is something only a loving but naive mother could believe.
So it was in the beginning when men broke under the strain of the frontier life, turning to ‘demon rum’ to dull their pain. The reversal of cause and effect was so easy. It served everyone’s interest. Prohibitionist played [...]
