i’m writing this using my WII

I just created, nominated and elected myself as the first unofficial or even needed liaison between the ‘Nerd/Geek world’ and the ‘Cool people World’ or currently not known as a NGWCPWL.
I felt this was necessary because today is “Talk Like a Pirate Day” and I didn’t want anyone to feel left out.
Right about now the residence of ‘Cool people World’ are letting out a big sigh of relief, I imagine it sounds something like this.

“Ohhhh, I thought the internet was broken and Al Gore was too busy to fix it, which we all know means the Nerds/Geeks where preparing for the end of the world, again, Sorry, My Bad.”

Don’t worry CPs, there’s been no ‘my bad’ committed just join in and have some nerdy geeky fun.

Man or woman, straight or gay, it’s hard to find someone who doesn’t love boobies. So for all the boobie loving freaks out there, I’m pleased to announce IT”S BOOBIE-THON TIME!!

For those unaware Boobie-Thon is a fund raiser where “bloggers from across the globe can submit pictures of bare and covered breasts to raise money for breast cancer causes.” Since 2002 over $24,000 has been raised for the Susan G. Yes, I know, I just gave you some inspiring, rewarding news but you all must focus..focus..o.k
Now here’s what we all must do over the next Month to prepare.

1. Come up with creative picture ideas
2. Tell all your friends and family
3. start a list of every synonym you can think of for boobies

Number 3, obviously isn’t necessary but can be alot of fun. I can’t wait to here what we can come up with.

And for my friends, you know who you are, I expect full participation. Joking of course, but please consider and if there is anything I can do to help let me know.

Wow, It seems you can make anything seem cool if you just add a Zeppelin soundtrack to it.

Well on second thought my son may just be so damn cute he’s cool with or without Zep tunes, let’s just pray he chooses to be cool with them!

I’m really enjoying this new WordPress plug-in I installed called Wp-FLV. It simplifies and beautifies embedding flash video files (FLV) into your WP posts and/or pages. What you end up with is a much nicer appearance than embedding in Windows Media Player.
You also end up with much smaller video files. I’ve learned how to convert my .MPG an .MOV video files into FLV, this alone shaved nearly 55Mb off the above file(79,673Kb down to 24,006Kb).

I discovered this evening that someone was hotlinking to an image on my site.
I’m a little ashamed to say that I’m having a ball with the power this gives me.
For those who don’t know, If you link to an image from someone else’s site and display it on yours or anywhere else it’s called hotlinking and is a form of bandwidth theft. It also gives someone else the power to change said image to what ever they like, which is exactly what I did. I figure since I’m paying for the bandwidth I minus well take advantage of it and advertise.
