I don’t think any one can be trusted. Even the ones you thougt were the most loyal and would never cheat to save than life, can do it right under your nose without you having even the slightest idea.

Ursula is right. Trust is important and I have an extraordinary amount of trust, but promises are important as well. If you tell a person in the beginning of the relationship what you are about and you don’t live up to that then it becomes a lie by ommission. No one is perfect, but to thine own self be true. Communication is the secret to trust. When someone never talks to you it is hard to trust them.

It’s all very simple, can be summed up in as little as one sentence, unfortunately I’m incapable of taking the most basic notion and leaving it as is.

Rule #6 Leave it simple. If it becomes complicated you’ve over analyzed it, are wrong and need to go back to ‘it’s always simple’.

No, that’s demolitions. “Add a cherry on top?” No no, that’s for sundaes. “Drink more beer?” “Save the princess?” “Use a wooden stake?” Gah! I can’t remember! You’d think something like that would be obvious to people. Unfortunately, too many people just want to jump to conclusions.
Nothing is ever hopeless, though. Sometimes you need to tear apart a foundation in order to build a better house.
